One other reason I don't like Ben is the aforementioned role meta. If jailkeeper exists then both MZero and Chris's claims become highly unbelievable, whereas if jailkeeper doesn't exist then either or both of them are acceptable in isolation.

A thought crossed my mind in the shower.

If we look at everything that has been claimed. Ben visited Chris night 2, Ulti was blocked night 3, and both the claimed Jailer and Roleblocker are limited shot which would make them both vanilla after night 2.
With Ulti's claimed block we can assume that one of them is lying about being 3 shot but if there is an Infinite blocking role around why was Chris not blocked both night 2 and night 3? Scum couldn't have known he was Backup psychic because he couldn't have been scanned night 1 thanks to VI and they couldn't have scanned him night 2 or he'd have seen a second visitor.

Conversely, why does scum shoot VI without blocking Chris? They would only do that if they had an unstoppable kill, but since those are usually extra kills why not shoot Chris too but he's still alive and only saw his blocker.

For Ben to be scum: He is a finite shot blocker, otherwise there is no reason not to double block Chris.

For Ben to be town: Scum absolutely has to have an extra kill and a ninja.

If Ben does flip X-shot Scum blocker though, we have two great follow up lynched in Brohan and the guy who logistically could not have been blocked on night 3

Scum has a Strongman that was used on N2 AND has a rolecop, and they rolecopped MK on night 2, saw he was backup Strongman, and shot him because he could potentially be a town directed EK later in the game.

Don't know how exactly that would function.

It's odd that they not shoot Chris. That is what makes the MK shot odd. Also kind of odd that they didn't roleblock or pretend to roleblock Chris and then shoot me. So yeah the whole night action situation is very confusing.
