agreed, at least that felt like more of a "moment"

while Isquen has come out of this looking not-great, I think this casts some shade onto Ben as well. He hasnt done much scumhunting, has been much more quiet than normal, and his soft defense of Isquen re: ctes doesnt look good especially if Isquen is scum.

Considering Bart has to be scum-aligned, Skinner makes sense as a cop.
No way he wouldnt claim cop if he is one tho. Plus flavor is not always that obvious anyway.

I respect Isquen more than that, this is just a smokescreen to try and kick up some emotional dirt to cover him not being able to effectively fake content as scum and stand up to scrutiny.

I mean, in Ben's defense, he can't access GameFAQs while he's at work. I think he's done a good job of contributing unique thoughts whenever he can, though. Ben traditionally is more of a town clearer than a scumhunter.

That being said I did begin to feel weird when I saw Ben's vote on MZero at EoD yesterday. But I think it's telling that he never voted Corrik to save Ctes, especially when he had ample time to ensure that there'd be a sizable buffer between Ctes and Corrik.

I mean, I'm ultimately not opposed to lynching Isquen. His reactions to the votes he got and his claim don't look good. I'm just getting some massive dj vu of Isquen refusing to claim out of pettiness and flipping as some important Town role. Don't remember which game (maybe Star Wars?), but I'm fairly confident that happened before and everyone got uber pissed at him afterward.

If Isquen could fully claim before we ultimately policy lynch him, that'd be great.

The town clears have been low hanging fruit and his votes location is kinda moot given the 5-4 switch from Corrik to ctes by Lea was literally last second. And Im somewhat unsatisfied by his admitted sheeping of Lea only to not follow off of MZero when it mattered. Also his comment about I would maybe have voted ctes too felt kinda insincere.

I still like Ben I think, but I'm not completely writing him off, he is passive.

I mean, Ben's not stupid. He's well aware last-minute changes can happen. Unless the scum team was prepared to dispose of Ctes, I imagine scum Ben wouldn't sit by idly when he could mitigate the chances of a last-minute vote switch onto his scummate.

Heck, he even miscounted the votes to be tied. He could have easily tried breaking it by voting for Corrik. I think Ben's thought process for his EoD voting is organic and logical. If he had no preference between Ctes and Corrik as a lynch, it makes sense to just step back and see what everyone else is doing and how they're reacting.

I dont really dislike Ben either, but a lot rides on Corrik being town atm.

Despite how vocal Ive been about Isquen, I get where youre coming from. It seems like at least once a game theres some obvious lynch that ends up being a mislynch. Last game it was FD in BCTs holiday mafia.

Most of the time the scummy players are just scum though, but if you want to cause a chaos tie for me to hammer again I humbly accept

For the record I was not obvious. I was just tired of having to put in 1000% more effort just for people to be convinced I'm town. It was bullshit. If I'm not deep in the logs and overanalyzing shit "omg fd is scum he doesn't even care about this game, he feels off" and I don't see anyone else being held to that standard. So I said my piece that game and simply wasn't going to commit dozens of hours to prevent my mislynch like i've had to do so many other times.

I guess I sorta don't care about who wenlynch... Town is technically winning with one dead scum that never got to use his power and only a dead vanilla for town (not to trivialize your death Lopen). So let's kill who appears most scummy. we obviously don't all need to agree but info is needed and it's clear we aren't getting it anywhere else right now.

Anyways it seems like the main points from the last 4~ hours of my head trying to split itself down the middle have been:

-Isquen planted a Skinner breadcrumb.
-Lea made a Skinner reference which Isquen took as a skinner claim (for some reason)
-Therefor Isquen is voting Lea despite the illogic that if Lea was scum she would have stuck to something on the safelist.
-Isquen didn't full claim, not the role or renamed role and merely said he didn't have scanning info.

IF Isquen is town, then I could see him as being "Town Principal" with the ability to jailkeep (put someone in detention), so that would be a potential reason not to want to full claim. But my god was the whole saga a trainwreck. Lea legitimately made many simpsons references and because this one happened to involve his (alleged) flavor it means she's scum?

And IF Isquen is scum then this is a blowup of legendary proportions. Perhaps Skinner was on Isquen's safelist, which prompted the post 900~ breadcrumb. And then when he saw Lea's post he saw an opportunity to make a play where he accuses her of NOT being that role, because if it's on his safelist he knows she can't be. Maybe?

It's hard to find both town and scum equity behind such a tactic. I guess the most obvious scum logic is "well people are voting me so I have to say something", but I'm gonna have to go back to Lea's ham reference and see if Isquen said anything more at the time.

Wallz-Lea is correct, I'd be flabbergasted is Red was scum. I used it during a frustrating time I didn't think I was going to get any answers the old fashioned way. I regret it because it wasn't really optimal but it's a load off my mind anyway.

A town confirmation would get him into gear, a scum confirmation would put him out of his misery.
