3039 was awesome! Half Life 3 got released! Not to mention transience gaming meant we could leave our physical bodies behind entirely for an almost entirely cybernetic immersion experience.
1,000,000 sucked though thanks to the brain slug invasion. Sure, being able to procreate with video game characters for real life offspring was awesome, but they started demanding rights and everything right when half the Earth's population had green slugs on their heads. Not to mention Homo Nintendius rising to power with it's third arm for N64 controllers.
