That's... not how the game is supposed to go. There's no tangible benefit to one person pressing the button.

Make it so that you get a cash reward or something, like $500,000 if you press the button and survive. If nobody presses the buttons, nobody dies, but nobody gets the money.

tbh, the board has a few sociopaths which makes it a legit danger. Plus if you add a cash reward where everybody else dies, you now make people more worried about their survival. Where if you picked 6 random PotDers, there's probably a reasonably good chance that one isn't a complete sociopath who would kill for fun, you now increase the risk of somebody being tempted while encouraging pressing as a preemptive defensive measure because -- money or no money -- if I have strong reason to believe that somebody is about to press a button and kill me, I would press it in self-defense.
