I've been to 29 of 50 states. Missouri has it's nice perks, even if it's not my favorite. Bbq is good. Moderate but all four seasons.
Arkansas is humid, there's not much to do, and the stereotypes of it being a bit backwards aren't entirely off base. I respect southern culture, my family are from Tennessee. But just be prepared for a culture shock if you move there.
