I think the director change really hurt the sequel! It simply felt too silly and aimed at a younger audience, lacking the dark, grittier feel of the original.
It wasnt really the director, it was parents that objected to the use of the word Damn and violence.
Wow, never knew people hated the secret ooze. The only problem I had with it is that
super shredder
wasn't given a better fight. Besides that I loved it as much as the first. The third obviously wasn't as good as the other two but it was decent. Still a fun movie.
Given how strong
Super-Shredder
was, they had to give the fight a kinda BS ending to keep him looking powerful.
I loved Ooze for Tokka and Rahzar although, even at the time, I was disappointed that Rocksteady and Bebop weren't used.

Return to Oz. I saw it when I was 7 and it was freaky.
That movie was all kinds of wrong.
