Please explain the game to me.
ah the usual early access scam. where they increase the price on some random update after being there for 2 or 3 years and never do any sales.

roflmao. steam enhanced shows it used to be 19.99 at one time. Not only that but you never addressed the point that they use early access as a scapegoat to keep their game "in the new wrap" which prevents it from going on sale. However it seems the sales are steady so they decided to increase the price and meme about never being on sale. Expect it to be shoved in humble monthly or some indie bundle.

Lol it will go on sale. Every game always does.

this is true, though it might also not be for everyone
Game is trash, they've started dumbing everything down.
It's going to wind up like Supreme Commander.
It's been an even $25 (cdn) for as long as I've been paying attention to it, and that's been since a few months after it was first added to Steam in 2016. Not sure what point you're talking about, especially where SteamDB has a lowest recorded price of $20.
I never addressed that point because it's completely baseless and ridiculous. Plenty of Early Access games go on sale on a regular basis, and the developer's reasoning for not doing sales has nothing to do with Early Access. This is not, as you suggested, increasing the price on some random update. It's increasing the price on what they expect to be the final major content update before launching the game, because it makes sense to charge full price for a feature-complete game.
This is a $5 dollar game at most.
did you forget to turn off the emulator while farming cards?

No need to play dumb. If you want a pic to rekt you just say it.
Lots of games have given free updates without increasing the price of the base game but now corporate greed figured people would buy into the "feature- complete" argument.

This game would seem like a time sink, although a very one.
you know the emulator that says you are playing the game so you can get the steam cards.
And how long did that price last? February 25th was the day it was added to Steam, and I believe to Humble as well. Me, I'd attribute that to a pricing error on day 1 (presumably because it defaulted to $X.99 instead of $(X+1).00), and not call that anything against the claim that they're going with $20/30 even.
Would you rather they charged full retail price for half a game when they started the Early Access process? Because me, I think the model of charging a lesser price for a lesser game makes a whole lot of sense, and then bumping it up to the full retail price when they feel they've got a retail-worthy game.
At least full release games that are incomplete still get updates without holding a price hostage then daring to bump it up. Makes no sense to pay more for an old game that been in the market for a year+. That's about the time it should be going on sale but with the early access scam they bump their price up and claim it's "new" and thus does not need to go on sale. This is a 85% off game or bundle tbh fam.
ah I guess you just read up on the emulator and are salty that I called you out on it so you had to pull out the straws?

no, I still have no idea what you're talking about. you're obviously trolling pretty hard. why don't you complain about how cheap you are some more?

I'd love to hear how you figure that. I'm not even going to challenge the claim; I just want to issue an open-ended invitation for you to explain why you think this game is worth no more than $5.
lol whut at both posters, I think they want to fuck.
but yeah you cry about price change as if its a big deal.
Who cares?

Because it's on Steam, obviously.
The price of something is what someone else is willing to pay for it. I am sure if they priced their stupid game at $60 it wouldn't sell.

It is a big deal. There's no reason to raise the price just because a game is out of early access.
Except that it was sold at a lower price in the first place on purpose BECAUSE it was early access, you know....because its not a complete game yet?

It's only because they want to do it like that.
I just don't get why people get so bitter over the price of a couple hamburgers. I seen a lot of it on the steam forums, too (for other games). Don't you have jobs? Even if you're relatively poor, $10 shouldn't make much of a difference.
It feels like, rather than actually being super poor and in some kind of sympathetic situation, these kinds of gamers are just unbelievably cheap and think they deserve everything for free. If it is the later case (which I'm not necessarily saying it is, I dunno what it is), then that's what I find hilarious, and I only wish they'd raise the price even higher (on any game) just to spite that kind of lousy attitude.
Where the fuck do you buy $15 burgers from?
not even burger king sells $5 dollar burgers. I can mount a hamburger festival with $10. People that support garbage practices are the reason gaming scene is so bad right now and has bad reputation.

Are you really using Burger King as the pinnacle of costly burgers? Maybe try a burger from an actual sit-down restaurant some time?
People that are willing to bend over and pay $30 for something that was 20 are the reason gaming is bad now? Am I seriously doubting that? No wonder nobody answer my questions
You mean the same sit down restaurants that take 1 hour just to serve you and try to push you a watered down scotch for 20?
fixed for ya.
No, I mean literally anything classier than a fast food chain.
