Quite a few of the side quests are really fun.

My favorite so far is the Battle Nurse quest

I need to buy it first, preferably before they shut down the online features (with unlockable content behind it). Right now, PAL region has a sale on it at least. Just need to wait until I have the cash.

Yeah, just the first. I never bothered with the challenges or soldier DLC and didn't max out my gems, but did the rest.

I can't vouch for the first game since I don't remember it much, but take your time with the sequel.

I'm sadly going to be rushing. I have only a few weeks to farm all the dusty tokens I'll need and do anything else that requires the online features, so I won't be able to take it too slowly.

Fair enough. The side quests will still be there even after the online features are taken down.

Indeed, some of that can wait, but story, I believe I'll need to be at the right spot for some of this stuff.

Do you play it much at this point? More friends make the token farming faster.

The treasure hunting can start as soon as you reach the new town, which is basically when the tutorial/introduction ends. It's not story related and can all be done before advancing the story any further.

How long does GR Remastered take to finish? Give me a worst-case number of hours, I seem to always take longer on games than the "average."

I own both already, and they're in my backlog. I'd like to play GRR first, but I want to get GR 2 in before the server shut down.
Really crappy of them to shut it down when the game hasn't even been out for 2 years, and to not bother at least having a plan to let you acquire the online currency ("dusty tokens" I think?) offline once the servers are down...

But you all are saying they improved everything in Gravity Rush 2 including putting it on a console?

Reached Chapter 2 already, earned 320 Dusty Tokens from treasure hunts.

Yeah. Some items don't need much, but the last couple are 5000 and 6000 Tokens.

The treasure hunts are pretty fun too, at least if you like exploring the towns at all. The only ones that aren't fun are the ones in Lei Elgona, or whatever the lower town is called.

Huh; I haven't heard of that one at all. But I don't like to look too much into a game I haven't finished.

Are you sure that one requires online services? (not doubting; just being sure.) Or is it online only or something?

You sure that that dungeon is online-only, Delta? If it becomes inaccessible after online features are removed, that makes the platinum trophy impossible to get.
