I just started it. I'm four episodes in. I enjoy it, but it's still not at the level of 'best TV show ever!' like the internet makes it out to be.

It starts out as an enjoyable but tropey college comedy but once the characters get established it quickly becomes one of the most clever and heartfelt shows I've ever seen. It's as brilliant as the internet makes it out to be, just stick with it.

Except the gas leak season sucks, and while the final season does get better, it never fully recovered. The show could've been one of the best and consistent shows ever if they never fired Dan Harmon.

The final season is like, the third best season tho.

and one of the strongest final seasons of any show ever. I never understood the people who said it didnt live up to the earlier ones.

Frankie's a pretty unlikable addition, and Elroy doesn't add much though I like the actor. The season also starts slow imo but the last three episodes are some of the best in the entire show and the series finale might be the best finale I've ever seen. Hit me hard right in the feels

I think the last full season I watched was the one where Chevy Chase was leaving the show. I saw some of the episodes after Troy/Danny Glover left, but without the Troy & Abed dynamic I wasn't super into it. Then I think I just didn't see anything from the Yahoo seasons. Not terribly interested in seeing the rest.
