Dragon Quest is awesome. Especially if you liked Secret of Mana. It's got a good cartoon style.

Yeah Secret of Mana was pretty fun, but unfortunately I never finished it for some reason

DQXI is really fun but really long (fair warning if you're looking for a 30-40 hour RPG).

I took my time with it but was only in the second act and had over 90 hours with it. Most of the reason was I had super strong monsters (challenge option) on for a long time so I kept dying and had to grind more than usual.

Dragon Quest XI. I love Persona 5 too but I thought Dragon Quest was a more relaxing game and fun.

Watched my wife play through DQXI. It's a great game. I voted for that one, but Trials of Mana looks cool too.

So I wanted to get DQXI from Target but they only had P5R, and I wanted the physical copy now so I can play it during the 3 day weekend, so I'm going with Persona for now. Then I'll order DQ online next week and start that when I'm done with Persona. Thanks everyone for the opinions!
