most work in my field is downtown, and the traffic is so bad and parking so expensive that it's faster and much cheaper to take the subway daily. that said, the subway system is limited and places near the subway are very expensive. so here I am.
Pretty much. It plagues most of North America, given how many North American cities have been designed around cars (thanks largely to so much of their construction happening after the invention and proliferation of cars).
