I think the last thing I saw him in was The Good Cop. Still pissed that show got canceled, like every NF original I've ever enjoyed (although the new He-Man reboot hasn't been canceled... yet)

I found when my mom asked me if I knew who "Danny Tanner" was, because an acquaintance on Facebook was saying he died. The only Danny Tanner I knew was from Full House, so I googled Bob.

I really enjoyed his stand up. He had some pretty crazy stories with the guys from Full House. His Zero to Sixty special has a great one about his 50th birthday with them in Vegas.

Could be anything. Aneurysm/stroke, heart attack, tripped and hit his head, drug overdose, electrocution, drowning in bath tub, murder, suicide...lots of things can kill even the supposedly healthiest people.
