Not a big fan of Peach's voice. I wouldn't expect her to be all bubblegum like in the games but that actress' voice is like startlingly low for the character. Even if they were going to make her all action heroiney, they could have at least found someone with a more similar pitch what we all know.

Honestly, all of the characters talking normally is just outright jarring. Even with voices that fit like Bowser's.

Pratt's Mario impression is the only one that sounds appropriate to me so far. But that's probably because he was the only one who wasn't engaged in full-on dialogue.

Yeah it looks like the same kids movie I've seen 20 times with a Mario skin on it, they have the formula down so that they don't get any negative reviews but it's otherwise pretty bland.

I'd see it as a joke.

I don't think Miyamoto would have let this fly, but I don't think he cares anymore.

I don't know if it's just because I'm older, but all kids movies just kinda blend in at this point.

Visually looks great but looks like a movie I've seen done time and time again.

It looks like a generic action/comedy with Mario Bros. characters, places, and even nods to games in the franchise, plastered over it for marketing reasons. I'm passing on this.

He sounds fine to me. Whoever is voicing Peach sounds awful, though. Sounds like a real downer voice. I guess I expected something perkier.

The trailer was a lot better than the first one. Still not warm on Pratt but Charlie Day was a great pick for Luigi imo. I like Peach, and Im happy theyll be putting her on the front lines at least until they do the whole damsel in distress thing halfway through the movie.

This 10x, people are latching onto the fact that Pratt sucks and did nothing for the character(which is true) but the movie will blow for adults anyway.
