I think I already knew I wasn't normal in elementary school. In high school, I started to realize that I'm a defect. That was one reason I became suicidal.

Actually, how do you define "normal?" Different people define the term in different ways. Many people seem to use "normal" to control and discriminate.

I was a wee child, and I realized people kept using the word "normal" for boring or mundane, and they kept telling me I didn't fit their norms. I tried "normal," but found only hurt and unnatural suffocation of life. So I began to embrace being "not normal," and the normies hated me for it ever since.

pretty early on when the normal kids started either bullying me or treating me like some kind of sick animal that they didn't really want to deal with anymore.

life's pretty great when you realize those people are all trash too and you don't really have to care what they're thinking or doing, though.

Around high school is when I fully accepted that I was a nerd and embraced the fact that I was never going to be cool or popular

I don't think I've ever thought I was normal.
I accepted that I was weird when everyone around me called me weird for hanging out with the nerds instead of the cool kids in elementary school.

I thought, oh, being cool is actually really lame and culty. Being weird means you accept people for who they are apparently.
