Well I feel kinda bad. What I got this year was so much better than what I gave. Usually our Christmas budget isnt very big - we mostly just give little things, and mostly clothes to the kids.
I gave my siblings alcohol, gift cards, candy and sweaters + stocking stuffers from my towns farmers markets (jams, soaps, salsas, etc).
To my kid nephews I gave some decent noise cancelling headphones and a yearlong Spotify Premium subscription (to the 12 yo who recently got into music for escapism lol) and some Kirby plushes and a music toy on the Santa list (to the 6 yo).
But the family came in super hard to get me and the spouse some kick ass presents.
We got an air fryer, crockpot, Xbox Series S + second controller. We also got a subscription to the NYT Cooking, and an annual pass for the National Parks Service since we like visiting at least one park or service area per roadtrip/vacation (its free entry to over 4000 recreational use areas in all fifty states - really neat!). Really great and thoughtful all around.
