do people still like Peanuts?
In the long run we are all dead
Omg cute. Why not get his own show? Any of them could have. Snoopy and the Peanuts are so adorable.
I love Charlie Brown.
I love Lord Jesus, Family Matters (for Steve & Laura which I typed up a beautiful alt from Just One Date episode) and FFIX (for Zidane & Garnet).
This is cool.
Franklin is great I don't have apple TV but if that show comes to a service I subscribe to I'd watch it
If you rise up to heaven I'll turn the sun to blind you
If you sleep deep in hell I have chains to bind you
Honestly..the only character outside of Charlie Brown that COULD carry a Peanuts show is Snoopy...
It's a point and click adventure where the only action is "use gun" on "man".
^I guess that's why they put his name in the title instead of Carlos...

Of course, the merch still sell, the old comic strips continue to run and the Holiday specials still get shown on TV.

I'd imagine that interest in Peanuts among people under the age of 40 is probably very low.

I dunno, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" are classics, and the comic strip ran for 50 years, so multiple generations were exposed to the characters. I wouldn't be surprised if kids that grew up on them even in the 80s and 90s showed them to their kids.
Cool thing about Franklin was that when Schulz introduced him into the strip, he got a letter asking that he not show Franklin going to an integrated school, and didn't even bother to reply to it. ^_^
The world may be going to Hell, but I am personally awash with convenience.
I would have watched if it was on Netflix

I have a hard time imaging what a Peanuts show made in 2024 will look like, so meh.
And with that... pow! I'm gone!
Pass. The Peanuts never really spoke to me.

Who? why can't it be about anyone important like fucking Snoopy? or even Linus?

They made a movie somewhat recently and it was quite good.

Not sure why people can't fathom that this could be good when many Peanuts things are great.
Getting too damn old for this crap!
It looks good from the trailer. Very much in the style of the classics. The James Brown joke actually made me laugh.
I saw that trailer. It looks cute, I don't really get why there's a third option in the poll.
And to everyone that says it should be about an "important" character, sometimes the focus should be on another character to flesh them out more.
I can't think of a cool new signature.

Heck, he had pressure from his publisher not to include a black kid, and he outright told them that if Franklin couldn't be added, he wouldn't write for them anymore. Schulz had no time for racism.
This is my signature. It exists to keep people from skipping the last line of my posts.
