It does not even have the Star Wars excuse, of only deciding the two are siblings in the sequel.
Thank goodness one of the things I do know, is that very anti-climatically, Phoenix just informed them in-between games, so there should be no more of that.
Umm... actually it's a step-sister
Half-sister
I was doing the step-ladder gag
Ah. I see. I did always love that one Other games have even started making references to it recently
I always liked DD quite a bit. Never heard it was unpopular. I did hear that about AJ:AA, though I wonder is DD unpopularity had anything to do with the Download only thing. Though, that would affect SoJ, too, so IDK
Now that I think about it, it is probably just every game but the 1st and 3rd. But that's fine, I have yet to play an AA game I actually disliked.
Have not played since starting Case 4, but still wanted to put some thoughts to text.
Turnabout Academy feels way too small for a case that took place at a school. 4 students and 2 teachers? At the very least we should have met the Prosecution Faculty Head. (Which also made me realize the two balcony set-up makes no sense, if there are supposed to be 3 Faculties...)
Realizing the structure DD has been going for, I am afraid Case 4 is going to be as dark and depressing as 3-4 was. I also feel like the narrative just skipped over something, with Apollo just deciding to wear an eyepatch out of nowhere...
I like the comical oversimplification of the first Apollo game... "Ok, lets invent a jury system so we can get guilty verdicts WITHOUT evidence!"At least The Great Ace Attorney has a fantastic jury system.
