some of you really need to go read the original Starship Troopers novel.

the movie is way diferent than the novel

A lot of stuff is different from the source material. The real question is if it's good or not.

Honestly, I read the book, it sucks.

The movie was actually devolved independently from the novel. When it was discovered that the script was similar to the novel, the producers bought the naming rights. It really should not be considered as using the novel for source material.

I did rather enjoy the movie when it was released.
