Do you work out

I don't belong to a gym but I do some running and weight lifting 2/3 times per week when I can.

Since the new year, I've been doing about 9 hours a week of DDR.
Maybe I'll eventually add something other than cardio to my workout routine.

Not for "working out" purposes. But I work out as part of my outdoor job.

I follow an adapted P90x routine. I do strength training 3 or 4 times per week, and cardio 1 or 2 times per week. Workouts range from 30 minutes (Thursday cardio by punching my heavy bag) to 90 minutes (Sunday shoulder and arm workout with dumbbells).

I've had good results but I don't really limit my diet much. I'd have much better results if I did, but good God that gets both expensive and bland. I need the occasional pizza and beer for my sanity.

Yes I love working out. I also work a very sedentary job so if I didn't I'd literally be on my butt all day. Generally I play dek hockey twice a week. In the winter I'll lift four days and take a rest day. In the nicer months I usually replace one lifting day with either a bike ride or disc golf. On weekends I often do both a lift and hockey or biking or disc on the same day. Today I got dek pickup eight to ten so I'm probably going to the gym to do some light lifts for a bit just so I'm not sedentary all day before then going to use the hydro chair

I go to the rec center at least 3 or 4 times a week or depends on the weather and how busy the rec center is during the day due to high school and college students that pop up at the rec center during the afternoon.

during the morning and during lunch time is the only good time for me to be at the rec center to exercise and lift weights a little bit each time every day or so

Another fellow DDR player? Nice! I just recently got a hard mat for Christmas. I try to play at least 3x a week. So great for trying to keep active.

Oh wow. 2 other fellow DDR players in one topic. I'm lucky if I get an hour each session. If I do at least half an hour each sesh I'm happy but 9 hours a week....that's God like... What difficulty do you play?

I mostly switch between Standard and Heavy depending on how hard the song is. I'm not as in shape as I used to be, and I don't want my neighbors to hate me. I don't live above anyone, but have people on both sides.

I would love to have a setup at home as solid as the arcade pads. But I'm in an apartment with downstairs neighbors lol

Every day unless I'm sick, I at least go for a run.
I go for walks often and work outside every Saturday. I'll also lift weights on occassion during the winter when I can't go out as much - but I do less weight, more reps. I think it's better to gain muscle from labor rather than by working out because your gains will be more practical and it's mentally easier to focus on a task while exercising instead of exercising just for the sake of exercising. Unless you want muscles that justlook good or you need specialized equipment, a gym membership is useless.
