Gotta bomb em. They typically spawn in the middle of 3 other rooms. Super secret rooms are usually in a room very close to the boss, and they are only ever adjacent to 1 room

Walls that can be broken make a different sound when struck by a weapon. Smash the wall open using a Mattock or the Morning Star

Apparently there are 5 ways to get into the Chris Houlihan room, but the easiest is to use a bomb to blow yourself towards the lumberjack's tree.

There's only actually ONE way in, and that's via any y-axis misalignment

First, you need to pick up the main story quest to find the 3rd piece of the key. Then, instead of following the quest, return to town. Follow the small alley next to the shop and look for a blue house, when you get close to the door it will open automatically letting you access the room. This door will not open at any other point in the game, so if you've already completed the quest you can't get in.
