You're giving him the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't thoroughly enjoy taking a sledgehammer to Gamefaqs.i think every user would enjoy doing that, your point?
Eh. Just responded to users, it's apart of the job.Never responded to my questions. If you go back and look.
Not sure what you asked but a lot of the posts in that topic were just flustered whining and don't really warrant a response.I was asking how they will track the success of this change. What measures do they take to define it. If the trend is negative, will they reassess? I work with data many times and look at these things. I didn't care for the decision itself. Canada is not brought up much in talking circles.

You're a cool guy Toast. They posted in my topic so they like me the most! ;^)
he knew what he signed up for
Did DToast get burnt?
Provide feedback, not cowardly insults, and incoherent ranting
There's plenty of feedback. He's outright said they're ignoring it.

Hes an employee. Not the owner. He doesnt have authority to make sporadic changes on a dime or even respond and comment to some things.someone who had the power to change things should have made the feedback topic. the feedback topic is useless if the feedback goes to someone who can't enact change

i can't even be mad at him as an individual because of how obviously corporate this whole shit is
i would absolutely not risk my job by objecting if my boss told me to shut down some political stuff on a gaming website. especially if it was some place i didn't really care about to begin with, and some reddit weirdos are sending me death threats over it!
the real asshole in this scenario is gonna go unnamed and unpunished because it's Good For The Company

Hes taking notes, and working in the backend. The fact that hes even interacting at all is proof of this.
Disgruntled GameFaqs users ranting and raving isnt going to suddenly bless DToast with a promotion so that he can make the series of executive decisions. All its going to do is make him apathetic in his duties.
This is common sense. I dont understand why none of you understand this. Its like screaming at the Starbucks Barista, and going so far as to key that college kids car because pumpkin spice lattes were taken off the menu.
There was one post in one of the feedback topics where he outright said "insult me if you want, but don't insult Fandom," and that just made me really sad.especially since that's explicitly against the rules! you can say fuck a company, you can't say fuck a user
