i'm one of the people who save money by having prime
I dropped it recently. The only reason I signed up in the first place was for the 2 day shipping, and now it's "2 days after they get around to shipping it" not 2 days after you ordered it. And half the time they can't even get that right. The last item I ordered using Prime took nearly a week to arrive. At least you have recourse if they fail to deliver it on time as part of the contract.
And Amazon REALLY sucks to shop without Prime because you can't swing a dead cat without "Are you suuuuuuure you don't want to sign up again?" all over the damn place.
I have it out of laziness, I have no idea if its costing me more or notFor me I never ordered anything on a regular basis nor did I use any of the perks so it was a waste of money for me.
Not sure if I also need it, in order to use the visa card. But I like the visa card rewards, and I shop a lot on Amazon, so it's still worth it to me.If you have the Prime Visa credit card, you don't need Prime to keep the card, but you'll go from 5% back to 3% back.
carrier doesn't always mean final mile carrierBut USPS usually has tracking for that as well.
