Just wrapped up first playthrough of Dragons Dogma 2, and don't really wanna do another playthrough until the DLC comes out.

I want another game to play though. I'd love another RPG (Be it western or JRPG) that I can play on a PC, preferably with a controller since I'm mostly gonna play it on a PC handheld.

Also preferably something that is Single player; playing mostly on the road these days, and though I can wifi hotspot games, it isn't great at multiplayer

I haven't been a big fan of those. I seem to really enjoy narratively driven games. Witcher 3 and Baldurs Gate 3 have been a couple I have played recently that I've really enjoyed.

Games that just came out this week I recommend:

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (JRPG, Suikoden spiritual successor)
Stellar Blade (action game, like Nier Automata or Bayonetta)
Another Crab's Treasure (funny souls-like w/ a crab...it actually works well)
Sucker for Love: A Date to Die For (dating sim / horror / comedy ...romance Lovecraftian monsters)

I just started Rogue Trader on the weekend and it works well on the Rog Ally form factor. It does run at a playable framerate but I do stream it from my main PC however.
So I was standing still at a stationary store...

I always recommend Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Its a fantastic action RPG that can be played in quick bursts. The story of the game is standalone so you dont need to play any of the other games in the series to understand it. Ys VIII is one of the best games in the series and a pretty good starting point.

been playing World of Final Fantasy lately, its a pretty good lil monster catching turn-based RPG
