Over the last couple years, Ive seen two completely different people try to force themselves to have a southern accent, because apparently the southern accent is the cool thing these days.
They just start talking that way 24/7 in hopes that itll become second nature. What in the fuck? What a silly thing to do. And technically, its cheating! Thats not a real accent
