I've got one but replacing parts is annoying. It's very convenient and pretty fun to use though

I'm happy with my regular bike, but e-bikes/scooters are a critical part of ensuring active transportation infrastructure is accessible and useful for as many people as possible. There are some cyclists who sneer at e-bikes, but I can't say I see the point. Not only is there no point to that particular bit of gatekeeping, it actively harms the implementation of useful infrastructure because it discourages prospective e-cyclists from demanding improvements.

If Greenworks decides to make a 40V version of their 80V electric bike, I'll probably buy one.

$1900, without batteries, but it can use the same batteries as their other 80V tools. 44 mile range with an 8Ah battery (which costs $450).

Im kind of tempted to get an electric bike so when I get too tired I can just use power. But I dont really have the money right now.

I just own a regular bike and I don't plan to buy an e bike but I get the appeal. I kinda wish I had one

I had an ebike but sold it after having nonrelated back issues. Now I have my e scooter with a chair. I love it. I live in a small city so I find it easier to get around compared to the bus. I just dislike the treatment from some cars when on the road ( by law I can't be on the sidewalk) and pedestrians that walk on the bike path

I've been tempted to strap an empty propane cylinder to the back of my bike to encourage cars to give me more space when there's no lane for me to use.
