Realistically, unless you're deliberately inbreeding, there isn't much left of the "family bloodline" after a few generations. With unrelated partners, great-great-grandchildren only share about 6.25% of their genes with their great-great-grandparents, compared to about 5% with any randomly-selected stranger. "Bloodlines" are more about the last name and family culture, and it's not hard to pass those on without having a biological kid if you care about them.
