In response to the term "fapping" being readily moddable (it was autoflagged for a while, not sure when that started), people took to using "CJayCing" as a substitute euphemism, after the then-admin of the site. That lasted for a little bit until it became clear that it was sticking around instead of just being a short-lived fad, at which point it started getting modded as well. In response to that, Hypnox volunteered his own name for the purpose, and because that wasn't overtly mocking the site's admin and was done with the user's express permission, it was able to stick around (though it was occasionally modded and I think I vaguely remember a couple of crackdowns on it).
Ah, okay, that's interesting. And super cool of Hypnox to volunteer. I always assumed it was a dig at him specifically. I was aware of the CjayC era, though.
