No. You've never once addressed my point. Define Heavy Metal and then explain why something like Slipknot doesn't fit that definition.
Slipknot doesn't (though bear in mind I've only heard up to 3.0) qualify as
metal
metal because its song structure and riffing type is not metal, it is rock. It is built around standard hard rock power chords instead of riffs, and frequently contains non-metal elements such as rapping and turntablism. Many bands around them are the same; Mudvayne, Nothingface, etc. A7X is more metal than Slipknot. 235's pinned post has more info.
