Can't find any of those stupid glasses.
Can I put it on selfie mode. Stand with my back to sun and watch and record it like that?

No, you will destroy the camera.

If you're in the region of totality, you don't use glasses during the ~2 minutes of totality. If you're only getting a partial eclipse...there isn't much to see really.
