I don't think it "should" cost anything. As long as a woman is happy with it and they can afford it, it's all that matters. I know women who have family heirlooms that were passed down, and others that got rings that were a few hundred dollars and were extremely happy with it. And others who have rings that are expensive as cars and still want bigger.
