I'm sure that the influx of Muslim refugees and immigrants has made the issue of public interaction with someone who hides their face one people are much more aware of, but that doesn't mean that the desire to see it done away with is tied to that person's specific nature for doing so. If Switzerland sees a lot of people who cover their face and the people don't like that that seems very natural to me as a non-religious issue.
