It's looking like Disney really is trying to move all of this over to their streaming service. I wonder if we're going to get a sudden announcement saying Punisher Season 2 is "canceled" and moved over there

It is not. A teamup series costs more money to make. They are scrapping this to start anew on their own streaming site.

Yeah that's it for the Marvel Netflix universe. Jessica Jones and Punisher will have one more season each and they'll be done too.

I thought maybe they could have combined Luke and Iron Fist into Heroes for Hire but no way that's happening now.

Though the Defenders were never really a "real" superhero group. They were kinda just heroes that decided to team up for a few missions before going their separate way.

I mean, they're probably doing it because Disney is about to launch their streaming service and acquire a 66% stake in Hulu via the Fox acquisition so doesn't make much sense to have their competitor's programming on there.

I'm sure they're going to revive the Netflix characters on their own service and it's even possible that it'll make them easier to integrate into the MCU movies.

At least S3's ending wrapped up in a way that felt like an actual ending. It was a good note to go out on.

Sad to see an end to Marvel Netflix's best show. I really hope Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio stay on as Daredevil and Kingpin respectively in the future. They really owned those characters.

Agents of SHIELD is the only one that's safe atm. Probably cuz it's the only TV show that was made before Marvel Studios and Marvel TV split.

Agents of SHIELD is the only one that's safe atm. Probably cuz it's the only TV show that was made before Marvel Studios and Marvel TV split.


The real issue was with Ike Perlmutter, who didn't get along with Kevin Feige.

But I heard not too long ago they're slowly trying to phase him out of things.

The writing is on the wall for Marvel/Netflix. These shows were/are the reason I went with Netflix, and not someone else. If this news had a mouth, it would be big enough to suck all the balls.

Yeah, I liked Law & Order CI a lot, at least the first 4-5 seasons before the lineup changed. To me, it was the only Law & Order spinoff that, for a period, rivalled the original series in kickassitude.
