They will have literally saved Star Wars.
Not holding my breath though. I may like the new movies, but I'm still pessimistic about Disney's ability to deliver what I really want.
Even if they don't they've still would have saved it imo. Star Wars was going nowhere with Lucas as much as I enjoyed some of the things LucasArts brought, it's overall relevance was fading away.
