I feel a bigger threat isnt so much the governments not letting things open up, but the longer this goes on, the more people get sick, the essential workers are going to stop going to work.

What happens when the grocery stores dont have staff?

We're hiring temp workers. They have a 60-90 day contract, and when the contract is over we can ask if they want to be permanent if we like them or let them go.

Pay them more. Make it a desirable job and they'll have tons of applicants to compensate for attrition

So when 1 or more people in the store get sick, maybe die, what then? What do you do when the rest of the staff says fuck this?

I agree with this, thats why I think when all is send and done we are going to see a new rise of unions in the workforce.

Don't know. Hopefully our store is fine.
IIRC, there are three confirmed people in other stores that have it. They don't give out any names obviously, but they close the store to deep clean it and inform anyone who worked close to the employee so they can self quarantine.
