A place to comment on what's coming out on LRG every week, unless I forget to bump it and it purges.

Dark Wood (PS4) - Survival Horror. That's a good start. But then I read that it's emphasis on survival; semi open world with crafting and cooking.. yeah, I think I've had my fill of that subgenre forever. Pass.

Neverending Nightmares (PS4) - A horror game drawing on the creator's "struggles with ocd and depression" You go into various nightmares and wikipedia says " Each time Thomas dies in a nightmare, comes across some serious cause of depression, or commits self-harm, he will "wake up" again in either the same nightmare as before, or into a different one." Woof, that's a lot. I may be into that but that's not one to play with any depressed friends around for certain. Further investigation needed.

Dead Tomb - point n click nes game?! wow, and expensive at 50 bucks for lrg.

Looks pretty trial and error. I'll probably pass on this one because of the high price, since I've got a backlog like you wouldn't believe and this is one I might not get to right away. Selling a new nes game is still cool though.

Also, last chances on Grandia HD Collection and Ys Origin on Switch. I have both orignal Grandia games, but man, that's probably a good buy.

I heard to brushing up work on Grandia HD is kind of shit
Are you saying it was a bad port? It's kind of hard to tell.

I think they gave the models a bad overlay. Like theres visual stitching in character models where two components were put together, and such things.
That's a shame. It's cool to have a way to buy two great games that are super out of print. I was kind of hoping for more Grandia games off this...

Also I'm not ashamed to admit I bought the Samurai Jack game even thought there was no info out yet when I preordered it so I really hope it doesn't suck.

A new NES game 35 years later. Hell yes.

Yeah, they take a really long time to ship. That's the biggest flaw with them, I've got like half a dozen or more games I'm waiting for.

LRG can get fucked, theyre so obnoxious and I laugh at every person who ordered Streets of Rage 4 from them only for a better version to launch in wide retail

What's obnoxious about them? What's included in the better version that makes it better? I'm more interested in the second question tbh, was thining about getting Streets 4 some time.
