I'm currently watching TNG as my entry into Star Trek. I'd like to watch Picard after this is I can.

Do I just need to watch TNG and it's movies or are other shows like Voyager, and DS9 that are required?

You need to watch all Star Trek shows and movies, read all the books and comics, play all the games, and do all of the jigsaw puzzles.

Every piece of Star Trek media you watch prior to watching Picard will have a negative effect on your opinion of Picard.

So if you want to enjoy Picard, watch as little as possible beforehand.
