Sometimes 12 year olds have it right, laughing at everything. And I was 40 when it came out and am a lifelong Star Wars fan. I mainly find it funny because Hux is such a douche.

It's like that episode of Community where they try to pretend Jack Black has been there the whole time so they splice clips from old episodes with random close-up reaction shots of his chararacter.

The cut and paste technique is ironically the most effective comedy tool in media. No context, just insert and watch the magic happen.

i just find the line's delivery incredibly stupid.
and the fact that line has no effect in the rest of the movie.
i mean, the enemy is a ghost that possessed an archaeologist (?), the blade should be effective in trapping the ghost.
