I live about an hour away. Today, when I woke up, it was dark as hell outside and the Air Quality Index was like 170 (anything above 100 is dangerous). Then I checked my phone and my mom texted me because she and my dad had locked themselves out of the house. Needless to say, I moved my ass getting over there to let them in. I really hope theyre okay the family dog was outside, too.

This time last year, the sky was orange and it was raining chunks of ash. You could see pine needles and stuff coming down from the sky.

Why were citys like denver, Co or salt lake city, UT built in areas that would consolidate so much poor air.

I literally just woke up and it's super hazy out.

The sunset yesterday was red red so I knew that smoke was in the air.

Coming from other states. The air quality got worse, in general, with so many marijuana refugees coming here. More cars, bigger cars, more emissions.

We had wildfires here just last year though. These were fires in the Rocky Mountains in the state.

Though to be fair the smoke wasn't as dense, nor did it travel as far.
