Started playing Yakuza 0 again (progressive spoilers)

Left off on Chapter 7 because at the time I was only playing the game drunk/stoned and cut back on my substance use since. Finally picked it back up last night and unlocked the cabaret club. Dumped like 3 hours into just that and beat Club Mars & got my pornstar hostess.

This game is too addictive for its own good, have to force myself to only clear one club battle per chapter so I don't burn out on that part.

I hope you enjoy it. It's a very absorbing game and series.

No clue when I'll be able to play the rest of the series, but it seems 0 is long enough to keep me entertained til I have the means to buy more games

Well yeah obviously you should get through 0 to see how you feel.

The cabaret club minigame was more fun than it had any right to be. I was actually sad when I beat Club Moon because it meant I had no reason to actually play the minigame anymore.

Thats why Im trying to space it out. I can easily binge the minigame but I wanna be able to play it right up til the end.

Wrapping up Ch.9 now. Last 2 chapters have gone by too fast, prolly time to hunt down more sidestories & do minigames

Only made sense to continue the story til Kiryu was no longer being hunted by the Dojima Fam, so now I'm on Ch.10 and doing side stuff before being shipped off to Sotenbori. Love how the threads are starting to cross between Kiryu and Majima's storylines. Doing the Real Estate stuff right now, prolly gonna at least beat the Electronics King before continuing on with the story tho I'm tempted to take down a 3rd Billionaire.

personally, I didn't like this game, and one of the reasons why is a major spoiler, so I won't post it until you're finished (assuming the topic doesn't purge by then).

Still doing Real Estate shit while knocking out sidestories/minigames in the process. Beat Electronics King and Pleasure King, swooping up Gambling King property and beefing up my businesses. Honestly feel like clearing this out and being done with it cuz, while addictive, its def not as fun as the Cabaret Club.

Also, fuck the Disco minigame.

So far its a very very good game. I can see myself trying for 100% completion if it weren't for some shitty minigames. Then again I managed to beat Electronics King in Outrun first try and I suck at that game.

Don't spoil it, but I can't really see any story development take away from the overall enjoyment I've had actually playing the game. Main story is almost a side thing for me at this point, yeah its interesting but the most fun I've had is doing side content.

Make sure to keep plenty of side activities lined up while gunning for Gambling and Media King, those are the areas where it really starts taking a while to get your shares up if you're just grinding it out. Make sure you also got the Business-related CP rewards just so it won't take as long.

Yeah Im starting to learn that now. Gambling King is taking way longer than my other businesses to fill up, and I got all the upgrades from the shrine. Luckily I got a lot left since I burned through Kiryu's story when I picked up the game as Majima is like, 100x more interesting as a character. Got like 30 sidestories done for Kiryu right now so I got a lot left

Ive been trying to max or Emiri's friendship so I can get the bowling alley as property, but I was hvaing the hardest time getting turkeys. Was following advice on a thread and none of it worked. Slightly modified one technique that seemed the most popular and got like 6 strikes in a row (instead of lightest ball, went one size up and double-tapped x from far left).

Did not expect to walk away with a new manager for my properties, who happens to be a chicken. This game is great.
