Should I?

Been working at a pizza place for about 2 1/2 months now after quitting my shift management position at a fast food place that made me want to kill myself in Roblox every day. Was hired on with the intention of stepping up to management since I got the experience, but I'm starting to have second guesses. The pay increase won't be much, would've been 50 cents but it'll prolly g up to $1.50 because thats actually competitive and the business is having a hard time hiring people. Also the food is expensive as fuck, which means entitled customers. Managers get yelled at daily there over the stupidest shit, and upper wants them to kiss ass. As a shift lead at my last job, I didn't take shit from any customer and would outright refuse service at even a hint of what I could justify as "verbal/emotional abuse".

However, at my position I can only get like 30hours a week, which has left me broke. Shift leads can get 40, and I can drop it back down if/when I go back to school. I also like the autonomy of being a manager, it'll keep my resume looking halfway decent, and I can boss people around. Not to mention theres like 3 shift leads every shift so I won't be alone in my responsibilities.

Should I take the promotion? Regardless I'll look for a better job but thats gonna be difficult to find one that works with a school schedule, and this current job will at least guaranteed me hours since theyre so short staffed

Absolutely

It will never hurt having something like that in your resume

If you're already planning on it being only a temporary measure, then sure, take the extra pay.
