Which job to try first

Gonna main Summoner through the MSQ, but for my second 90 I wanna take one of the new jobs up. For the longest time I was hyped for Sage, and Im still digging it. I DPS hard on WHM and Sage seems to have some big-brain tools that won't leave me bored. However, after the media tour and hearing Reaper being highly praised, I'm turning towards it a bit more. Seems incredibly fun, and I think I can get past the edge.

I mean I'm gonna level both to 90, but the question is who is gonna get that fat boost I've prepped up. I won't be playing Scholar at all, so Sage would help so I have a DPS and Healer for raids/extreme trials. But dayum does Reaper look fun.

Sage.
But also level Astrologian if you want to have a Healer for high end content, so you can avoid double Sage (there will be a shit ton of Sages).

Going with Reaper...scythe really is such a rare weapon type, especially in JRPGs haha

You use your 9479237 oGCD's on the party member who needs it every 30 seconds while you spam one button to deal damage to whatever enemy/enemies you're fighting. Healing is the easiest role to use and be good at, and is only really challenging at all in high end progression.

Everything in the game is easy except at high end. I basically spent all day yesterday doing unsynced Great Hunt Ex and was doing it with one hand while I played on my phone.

This post made me look up what "oGCD" stood for because I have no clue what any of the acronyms I see players toss around are.

And now I know that LFG means "looking for group" and not "let's fucking go." I thought everyone in Bozja was just super fucking hyped to be fighting in duties.

Wow Reaper is demolishing Sage. Will prolly take it up then, tho I logged out at the Sage NPC. Seems healer will be pushed out a few weeks for dat stylish Reaper.

Also helps I got decent glam saved for it that works on male races. My healer glam is too smexy

I wanna play reaper, but it looks kinda complicated. I don't fuck with healers. Too much responsibility.

The only game I ever healed in was guild wars 1. Zero desire to get into it in FF, i'm a pure DPS fuckboy. The most healing I do is rezzing with my red mage

Healing was pretty fun on WoW as a Paladin because they were often broken and didn't have to worry about things like mana or overhealing. They could just mindlessly spam the whole time.
