Is season 3 of 'You' any good? (No spoilers pls)

I very much enjoyed the first two seasons and especially liked that it remained both consistent and fresh as far as Joe's personality and actions go, as well that that other characters sometimes did things that even Joe didn't anticipate.

At the end of season 2 however I audibly groaned due to the typical streaming series clich of shoehorning a (semi-)open ending in the last 30 seconds out of nowhere. To me that is a red flag that the people making the series are just trying to milk it out as much as possible. So that's what makes me hesitate to watch further.

So is season 3 any good, or worth watching at least?

It's certainly interesting to say the least. You can tell from the first episode if you'll enjoy it or not, so I'd say definitely watch that.

Season 3 is pretty great, but to tell you why would be a lot of spoilers.

it was good and worth watching. the shows based off a book. i haven't read it and no clue how closely the show follows the book but i'm assuming the cliffhanger each season ends on is just to tease the next season. each one has gotten me interested in the next season.

I think the things you liked and didnt like about 2, will be the same things you like and dislike about 3

Season 3 is still good but not as good as Seasons 1 and 2.

It suffers a bit because while Season 2 had a sort of twist on Season 1s formula, Season 3 doesnt really have an opportunity to change up the formula the way Season 2 did, but tries to do so anyway, so it flounders a bit.
