It's going up on Gamepass soon and I'll be playing a batch of games once I resub in May for Redfall. But I've heard some pretty meh meh things for Bannerlord in EA and during its launch announcement. Is it pretty fun and worth the install/time or should I just stay happy with Warband?

Pretty good to me. It's warband but bigger and better
Common sense says it may not taste good, but it'll make a turd.
Horse archers still a pain to kill. Chasing people on the map can take fucking days.
Don't like it? Don't watch it. It's that simple

Yeah idk what you could really do about this though besides horse stamina

There haven't really been any major changes since early access, unfortunately. It handles large battles far better than Warband, and sieges are a lot better when they work, but it feels completely lacking in kingdom management and other areas where Warband was really weak.

Want some rye? 'Course ya do!
I feel like the dev team must just be collecting checks or something cuz I remember before early access they promised all this amazing stuff that seemingly never got developed after even years. Not even simpler stuff like criminal enterprises. At least if you play Warband there are mods like florin...

Really don't want to trash Bannerlord because I'm glad anything even got released but I was hoping for more content after all this time.

Wow.
I appreciate the opinions. It sounds kind of like a Warband graphical remake then instead of a whole sequel, which, honestly, sounds like something worth Gamepass or a big sale haha. I'll check it out that way then.
