I guess I somehow forgot to mention in the OP that we're broken up now. Not sure how my dumbass glossed over that.
Who broke it off and why?She did because she just simply didn't feel the same love for me anymore. It was apparently the past few months, but she didn't want to break it off right away in case the feeling actually did come back. No malice, no cheating, nothing. We were doing totally fine here for years. That's kinda what makes it hurt even more than my previous relationship. At least that one ended badly and I could move on.
For some I think the pain never fully goes away, though it tends to get better. If you go looking, you'll find people on forums asking why they still miss their ex from 15-25 years ago. If you truly love the other person then you may never get past it. At that point it's just about learning to live with the pain and accepting it as part of you. This
Accepting that your feelings are valid and perhaps channeling that energy into something else can help with that.
you'll get over itIs way better than this
How else are you gonna get sex tho? Nobody hooks up just to fuck nowadays it's too risky especially with conservatives going after things like contraceptives and abortionPolitics? scared to have sex because of politics??
Time to go your own way.Been listening to some good old Fleetwood mac these past few weeks, lol.
Sorry, man. It will get easierThanks, that's what I'm hoping for. Very grateful to have some amazing friends and family to help, but even with all that just the constant memories and what ifs never leave my head.
