Out of nowhere, it's telling me "can't connect. retry or check network settings" and won't load. Checked it on both my Fire Stick and my Switch.
YouTube.com still works on my desktop, and the app works on my phone.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm casting yt to my TV right now and it's working just fine. Or did you mean through the native yt app on the TV?

Happening to me too, but I figured it was because I am in the middle of a thunderstorm and my internet overall is being wonky.

I have a Sony TV running Android TV.

My TCL/Roku TV supports YouTube but it's impossible to log in and stay logged in. Also takes forever to boot. The only device that worked for me was the Apple TV.

Yes. Not youtube basic but I was trying to start up youtube tv on my fire stick. And I got that error

Runs like crap through my TV app. Lags constantly and when a vid ends there's like 4-5 seconds of black screen before everything comes up again.

It runs perfectly on my phone and PS5 but the tv app is terrible

I was getting errors about an hour ago, images went black and got a message about connection. This was a laptop.

Okay good, I wasn't sure if it was a me thing or not. I tried uninstalling the app, clearing the cache, unplugging my router, restarting the Fire stick, etc...

I guess it's something on their end.

It is. It's been happening for the last couple of hours. And it's both Youtube and YoutubeTV apps on TVs and consoles. Doesn't seem to be affecting mobile devices or PC's.

I was having issues earlier with the YouTube TV app on my TV, but it's working now.

I have that too but I've never tried it. I watch youtube through laptop but have it connected to TV for display. I don't have any issues but I would imagine I'd have the same issues as you (I've literally never tried the Youtube app in the TV/roku menu lol
