In the end, I left the autistic guy to Cerberus to continue the geth control research. I'm sure I got some renegade points for it -- it'd be nice to hit 80% if I can.Even doing an all renegade run, this one was hard to pull the trigger on. IIRC, even taking the paragon choices/interrupt has Shepard pistol whipping the scientist. My guess is that it was the only way to make people feel slightly good at the end of it. Otherwise, the whole thing just made me feel dirty.
