that's just because on top of Black Panther, which I really enjoyed (haven't seen Wakanda Forever, though), I'm a big fan of his other movies.

The Russo Bros and Gunn are the only ones to be consistent imo.

Gunn was so integral, Disney reverse canceled him because they realized he was needed.
A show of kindness may not do much help, but a show of cruelty may do much harm.

Gotta go with the Russos, in spite of how much I appreciate Gunn as an auteur / visionary. I love their origin story: landing the gig because Feige loved the Fistful of Paintballs episode of Community. The character makeover they gave Cap in Winter Soldier almost singlehandedly got me invested in the MCU (for proof that the Russos had a direct hand in this, see how Cap temporarily reverted back to dorky boyscout when Whedon got him back for Age of Ultron). And being able to successfully juggle so many screen-hogging superheroes in Infinity War was a landmark feat.

Yeah, they did to Cap what Taika did to Thor for me. ...Only the Russos managed to keep their version of Cap interesting for more than one movie, unlike Taika's Thor.

Taika Waititi and Louis Leterrier are tied for my favorites cause of the Hulk.

The Russo films arent necessarily great because of the directing. GotG3 is.
