How much did you spend on your vacuum cleaner?

fuck this shits expensive. My mom gave me 2 old ones she had, and they both broke quickly. We got a new one for like $100 over a year ago and it doesn't work very well now. Is this really something it's normal to shell out like $500 for >_> Im thinking about this one ($400 at costco):

but now I'm reading online that bagged vacuum cleaners are more durable?? What vacuum cleaner do you have and is it good? i dont even have pets but we get a ton of human hair clumps in the carpet and its gross
