Does Bruno Mars is gay?Just he is career
I can dig music that's pretty derivative, but brings some element of "freshness" to their act; something that takes their music from being a mash of influences to being theirs, so to speak.Yeah he has amazing skill and voice but his songs are the very definition of corporatized, marketing committee influenced grey slop.
Bruno Mars is a talented guy, but nothing he puts out feels fresh to me. It's all stuff previous artists did better, with nothing that makes it his own - not in his music nor his performance.
Clearly he has his fans, so good for him. To me he might as well be a cover act.
Bruno Mars is in that Lizzo category of musicians who are undeniably talented but somehow manage to make the most boring, forgettable music imaginable.
I think he's talented but I don't enjoy his music at all aside from the Silk Sonic stuff
These. It's just cheesy fluff and ripped off.I really think that part is very intentional by the record. Every modern pop songs like they are collage of what's popular, decided by survey or focus group and market research, then they manufacture easily digested music equivalent to a potato chips that the masses dig. Completely soulless.
How can you hate a song like this?

Bruno Mars is in that Lizzo category of musicians who are undeniably talented but somehow manage to make the most boring, forgettable music imaginable.I haven't heard much of Lizzo's stuff after the first album, but there was some legit good stuff on there. Again, to me the key is the artist making something familiar feel like it's theirs, and I think Lizzo did a good job of that (at least on that first album). When I hear Mars, all I hear is a bastardized version of what came before him.
