Tbh I'd take those long recaps and stuff over making actual scenes worse or padding with flashbacksYeah, I think the long recaps are fine instead of having mid-episode flashbacks. Skipping those, the intro, and the next episode preview/outro just means I can get through the show quicker.
Yeah, I think the long recaps are fine instead of having mid-episode flashbacks. Skipping those, the intro, and the next episode preview/outro just means I can get through the show quicker.ep 1071 (aka the episode everyone was hyping) is a big example where I would've rather had a long recap instead of the episode's pacing screeching to a halt multiple times due to reused animation/flashbacks (it would've still screeched to a halt in one scene due to the manga, but that's on Oda)
yOu CAn sKIp iT my assFair yeah, but on the long term it's better to have filler than to make the actual stuff you want to see worse
Those who waited weekly on air didn't have such privilege.
Haruhi got a major flak because they aired 8 episode with 95% same content. Sure, the DVD watcher can skip it but those who waited weekly definitely has the right to be annoyed.
Watched up to ep6.
Shushu is the best character and his omission from the live action is criminal.
yOu CAn sKIp iT my assYou watched it live on Japanese television then?
Those who waited weekly on air didn't have such privilege.
I'm pretty sure there's a movie that sums up alabasta that you can watch if you want to get into that arc and I think the chopper arc too.the movies aren't a good idea, they're rushed versions of the arc (and unlike the LA they don't have enough of their own thing to make up for it). Plus the chopper one for some reason is in a weird AU where they only went there after Enies Lobby and thus
Yeah the anime is bad from the jump and also fillers mainly because it got too close to the books. I know the game sums them up quickly as well but certain games skip arcs like skypiea (pirate warriors 3 did this I think)
So just skip it like I said. You dont have to sit there and watch them. To illustrate the time savings, lets say there is 5 minutes of that per episode. Thats literally saving you 144.8 hours or just over 6 days of watching do you really want to have to watch that much longer?
Three episodes into the Usopp arc now. Was expecting it to be almost over, but there looks to be like 6 episodes left. Kinda crazy.
Cutting this Jango guy from the live action is kinda lame, but I guess Kuro didn't need a hypnotist in the live action version of his plan.
